Going to college means going through a lot of changes, one of which will be your eating schedule.

You were used to eating around 7 at home, but now that you get up at 6 a.m., take a nap in between, and slave over your homework long into the night, chances are you are going to get the late night munchies.

But never fear, a list of nightly eats is here!

If you attend St. Louis University and are wondering what places will be able to satisfy your late night study shesh craving, then you should give these places a look.

City Diner:

The City Diner has got you covered from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and is open 24 hours on weekends. So whether you are cramming and need some food before your dying whale stomach wakes up your roommate, or you want some food at 3 a.m. on a Saturday, then this place is definitely worth paying a visit.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, you’re sure to find something to satisfy any craving you may be having. They have vegetarian options too.

Triumph Grill:

Triumph Grill will be open for your snacking needs until 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday, and will stay open until midnight on Friday and Saturday. They also offer happy hour, so if a drink will help take the edge off of a long day, then why not pop in?

There are so many choices that you might have to take multiple trips. Take a group of friends so you can sample a lot of dishes! They also have rooms you can reserve for private events, so if one of your friends is having a birthday, why not pay a visit to the Triumph?

Especially since it’s open late on weekends, you won’t have to worry about partying into the night.

Taste:

This one will be a favorite for you night owls. Monday to Saturday you can get your grub on from 5 p.m.- 1 a.m. and Sundays from 5 p.m.-12 a.m. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Serving snacks, meals, desserts and cocktails, you’ll be able to get exactly what you need.

They put a big emphasis on their local ingredients, giving it more of a homey taste. And I mean, the name is pretty cool too, so why not see if it is up to par?

Ted Drewes Frozen Custard:

If you have a late night sweet tooth, why not take this place out for a spin? They are open until 10:30 p.m. every night, so it is the perfect study break snack.

One of the reviews said “If you don’t like Ted Drewes, you must be lactose intolerant or just plain crazy. It is just delightful!”

The family energy mixed with great tastes is what has locals and tourists alike flooding to get some ice cream/frozen yogurt. Sounds delish!

The Vine Mediterranean Café and Market:

Featuring Middle Eastern, vegetarian, and Mediterranean dishes, this definitely sounds like the first place I would go to. With vegan friendly options, live music, free wifi, and of course late night dining (Sunday-Wednesday they are open until 10, and Thursday to Saturday until 12), this could potentially be your new favorite place!

They also have a market and a bakery to check out, as well as tons of healthy options that can be a wonderful study boost. In addition, they have hookahs if that tickles your fancy.

Blueberry Hill:

Blueberry Hill is a landmark restaurant which also features late night eats but is special because it is a restaurant and music club. There is food for everyone (even you picky people) and music to be enjoyed, darts, video games, pinball, photo booths, and of course an awesome beer selection.

Even your furry friend can join in, since their patio seating is dog friendly.

Drop in for a good time, or look up the bands to see if there are any that spike your interest. Whether it’s a night to get away from school, or a fun event, Blueberry Hill sounds like the place to be.

Three Monkeys:

Okay, can we just give a shout out for all these cool names of restaurants? Three Monkeys will let you dine until 1:30 a.m., and will let you get that soul food with pizza galore, and of course a buffet (stuffing your face for a low price, what’s not to love?).

Just looking at their website was making me hungry, so I’d say don’t monkey around and go stop by.

These are just a few of the many, many places you can go to score some late night food. Remember, food equals brainpower, so you can always justify getting a quick bite and leaving the homework for an hour or so.

It’s to help you concentrate after all …
